Chlorella is a highly nutritive single-cell algae that is important in the treatment of mercury poisoning. At Alchemist Lab we also use it in cases of anemia to raise red blood cell counts as well as to increase albumin levels. Chlorella also boosts the immune system by raising levels of natural interferons.

What it Does/How it Works:
Chlorella is a single cell-algae that has lived on Earth for 2.5 billion years. From the Greek: Chloros means green and ella signifies small.
Chlorophyll is virtually identical to hemoglobin, which is a protein found in red blood cells, except that hemoglobin contains iron and chlorella contains magnesium. Chlorella contains more chlorophyll than any other plant on the planet, with Chlorophyl being 3 to 5% of the total weight of Chlorella.
Chlorella helps treat anemia by boosting red blood cells.
Chlorella also boosts the body’s immune system by various mechanisms, including increasing natural interferons.
Chlorella’s fibrous outer shell binds with poisons and chelates heavy metals, including mercury, as well as pesticide residues.
Unlike substances such as DMSA (Dimercaptosuccinic acid), which are used in the treatment of cases of high mercury, Chlorella is a very gentle detoxification.
Chlorella is highly nutritive, as well as containing natural digestive enzymes. Taking chlorella is effective in the treatment of bad breath or foul smelling gas.
At Alchemist Lab, we also prescribe chlorella in the treatment of low albumin levels and low red blood cell counts.
